At Thera-Med, we know the importance of finding the root cause of our patient’s addiction.  Once identified, we develop a personalized treatment plan that can include individual psychotherapy, experiential therapy, motivational coaching, and the “FitWit Brain” coursework.

Personal treatment plans are an outgrowth of the assessment process. Patients are thoroughly understood through the assessment process, problems are identified, and a pathway to recovery is planned. The resultant plan can take patients in as many different directions as they need to go, but the destination is always the same, to restore the patient’s well-being.

We teach our clients how to deal with the past, how to manage stress, anxiety, and depression, and how to heal the body and brain through nutritional recovery and prosocial engagement.  We work one-on-one with our patients to implement this information into their treatment plan, thus building a sustainable quality of life that supports their goals.

Putting it all together, that’s the purpose of our coaching support.  Our coaching services consider your individual needs and goals to develop an action plan that supports both.

Our objective is to implement the skills you learn and the knowledge you gain into your life in a way that’s beneficial to the vision you have of your life in recovery.

Our coaches blend their chemical dependency counseling education, wellness coaching skills, and NLP fundamentals to build an empowered foundation meant to grow with you during and beyond treatment.

Coursework

Our team strategizes with you to develop a personalized action plan to implement the principals taught in the 9-week FitWit Brain course into your personal life.  Our process allows you to learn, practice, and build, week by week, a lifestyle that supports your treatment objectives.  We prepare you with the tools and knowledge you need to maintain your goals.

The course is online and self-paced.  Participants meet with a Thera-Med professional for support in implementing the lessons learned into their personal life and accountability.  Module topics include nutrition,  physical health, brain health, stress management, and the importance of proper rest to overall health and recovery.
